A starfish might not be what you would expect to see as a logo for a counseling office. So allow us to share a story with you as to why we chose this specific image: 

     I was relaxing on the beach one afternoon when I saw a man walking along the edge of the water.  This fellow bent over, picked something up, and threw it into the surf.  He repeated this action a few more times as he drew closer and closer to me.  When he was close enough to hear me, I asked "What are you doing?"  He replied, "I'm throwing starfish back into the water."  Looking around, I noticed that there were hundreds, thousands of the sea creatures dotting the sand.  "Why bother?"  I asked. "There are hundreds of them.  You won't make a difference!"  His reply came as he tossed yet another starfish into the water. "But it made a difference to that one."
